Payment provider

All of our payments are provided via PayPal and Stripe, please check their separate terms in the cart/checkout process. You will have to agree to these terms before completing a purchase through our site. All legal questions and disputes regarding payment and billing are to be directed to PayPal. We do not anyhow store credit card or other payment information.

Right to change and cancel orders

We reserve the right to change or adjust prices and information without information or consent.
We reserve the right to without justification cancel orders that are suspected to be fradulent or otherwise in technical ways completed by fraud or error misuse the e-commerce site to submit orders. We inform the Finnish police of all suspected frauds.

Cookies

Our system uses cookies to help us analyze our audience as well as enable the online platform to function properly. We do not collect personal information except what is provided by the customer upon registering an account.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a testimonial, the testimonial and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left a testimonial, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Article: Scope of application

These general conditions of sale apply to all transactions and thus is considered as "client" any natural or legal person making with the company North Country Media Co. an order validated via our secure payment platform.

Article: Age limit

Age restrictions apply: The company North Country Media Co. only accepts clients over 16 years old (for physical and electronic products) and over 18 years old (for services: coaching, workshops, seminars). We do our best to restrict access to our sites, products and services to minors. Even if the content of our products and services is not of a shocking nature, we prefer to target a mature audience capable of understanding the implications and responsibilities of the business world. Any subscriber to the newsletter who does not meet these criteria (age over 16) will be immediately deleted from our database as soon as this is brought to our attention. Likewise, any customer who does not meet these criteria will be immediately reimbursed and a return of the product (s) concerned will be required.

Price

The prices are indicated in euros all taxes included (at the rate of Finnish VAT 25,5%). The price of items can be changed at any time. However, the price applied to an order will be that announced at the time of the order.
